Ivan McClellan

Ivan McClellan is an internationally recognized photographer and visual storyteller whose work celebrates the culture, history, and modern legacy of Black cowboys. Through his acclaimed photography and the Eight Seconds project, Ivan has documented rodeos, ranches, and horse communities across the country, bringing long-overlooked stories to a global audience. His work has been featured by major brands and publications, and he is passionate about preserving and elevating the rich traditions of Black horsemanship. As a member of the Philadelphia Urban Riding Academy Executive Board, Ivan brings a powerful voice for storytelling, culture, and community impact.
